After a week of being closed to damage caused by the June 18 flood, the Trans Canada Highway from Dunmore to Maple Creek has been re-opened to public traffic.
The Redcliff RCMP say the highway is reopened in both directions from Dunmore to Maple Creek, but motorists are advised that there is a four-kilometer portion of the highway that is down to two way traffic approximately 38 kilometers east of the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. Motorists are also advised to watch for water on the Trans Canada Highway in the east bound lanes approximately 15 kilometers east of Irvine. Traffic was also opened to general traffic along Highway 41 South on June 23, but motorists are advised that there road construction taking place and need to be prepared to slow down. |
