People who live along Third Street N.E. in Redcliff are relying on temporary water line service as construction continues on replacing the old pipes.

Curtis Scott, superintendent for Can Doo Excavating Services said the waterlines are being replaced to 23 residences along a two-block stretch.

“We are replacing 250 meters of water lines and have been running temporary water lines so the people have access to water,” said Scott.

The water lines are expected to all be replaced this week.
