Public info key in RCMP arrest of thief PDF Print

Information received from a member of the public helped Bow Island RCMP apprehend a male who was fraudulantly using stolen credit cards at a local business on June 10.
As a result of the information provided to the RCMP, Stephen Francis, aged 29, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a credit card and possession of property obtained by crime.
According to Cst. Jarom Leafloor, Francis has also been linked to several other theft related crimes at several locations in southern Alberta.
Leafloor commends the public for their assistance.
“The information received the public has been very helpful. The public is key in providing information in these cases,” he said.
