County CAO resigns

Cypress County is confirming that CAO Kevin Miner has resigned his position effective May 31, 2015.
In a brief statement released to the press Cypress County said the reason why Miner is leaving is over a difference of opinion with council on matters undisclosed.
“Kevin Miner has tendered his resignation as Cypress County’s CAO effective May 31, 2015,” the County’s statement reads. “There has been great progress made since Kevin was hired in 2013, but there are philosophical differences about how to proceed into the future.  As per policy Assistant CAO, Doug Henderson will be the Acting CAO until Council decides how to proceed.  We wish Kevin all the best in his future endeavours.”
Miner was hired as CAO in  2013.
